SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma men's tennis team edged Concordia, 5-4 on Tuesday, Apr. 2.

The win moves the Sea Lions to 7-11 on the season and drops Concordia to 8-10.

The Sea Lions needed every point they could earn to achieve the narrow victory. They opened with taking four of the six singles matches. Brooks Baldinger won his match at No. 1 singles in straight sets 6-1 and 6-4. Jakob Kevelaerts and Kaptan Kaster did the same at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

Daniel Milliken came up with a crucial point at No. 6 singles. He fought back after losing the first set to win the next two and capture another team point for PLNU with a 4-6, 6-1 and 6-3 victory over Farren Casad.

The match then shifted to doubles with PLNU holding the 4-2 advantage. Milliken and Bram Kevelaerts would secure the win for PLNU by picking up the Sea Lions' fifth team point at No. 3 doubles with an 8-3 victory.

The Sea Lions' next match will be Thursday, Apr. 4 when they host BYU-Hawaii at 2:00 p.m.
