SURPRISE, Ariz. - After earning wins last week over the No. 17 team in NCAA Division II (UC San Diego) and the No. 4 team in the NAIA (Vanguard) the Point Loma women's tennis team fell short this time against another top 25 team in NCAA Division II, No. 3 Hawaii Pacific, 9-0.
 
This was the Sea Lions' final match before the Pacific West Championships which begin on Thursday (Apr. 17). The seeding in the eight-team field is yet to be determined.
 
The result of today's match leaves PLNU at 12-11 on the season and Hawaii Pacific at 14-5.
