SAN DIEGO - The No. 25 Point Loma women's tennis team ran into the No. 4 team in the country, BYU-Hawaii, on Monday, Feb. 23 and fell 9-0.
Â
The victory improved the Seasiders' record to 7-0 and dropped the Sea Lions' record to 2-4.
Â
"BYU-Hawaii is one of the best teams in the nation," said Point Loma head coach
Curt Wheeler. "They are great at imposing their style on the teams they play. Good teams and players don't ever give free points and you have to earn everyone. We have to learn that.
Â
"We did talk and learn more about what it means to oppose your will on someone," Wheeler added.
Â
The Sea Lions' next match will be Thursday, Feb. 26 when they host Vanguard at 4:00 p.m.
