SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma women's team fell to the No. 1 team in the country, Armstrong State, 5-0 on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at the UC San Diego Tennis Courts.
 
The Pirates (15-0) jumped out to a 3-0 lead by taking all three doubles matches. The Sea Lions(5-9)  faced a tough deficit ahead of them in singles by having to win five of six, and today they could not get it done.
 
Armstrong State picked up victories at No. 1 and No. 5 singles to close out the match 5-0.
 
Point Loma will return home and face UCONN on Wednesday, Mar. 18, at 3:00 p.m.
