SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma women's tennis team got back in the win column with a 9-0 sweep of San Diego Christian on Thursday, Mar. 19.
 
The victory snapped a five-match losing streak for PLNU and lifted the Sea Lions to 6-10 on the season. The loss drops the Hawks to 2-7.
 
The match started with PLNU taking all six singles to complete the victory without even needing a point from doubles. It was even more impressive as a number of the Sea Lions moved up one or even two spots in the order because of injuries to teammates and they were still able to complete the sweep without dropping a set.
 
PLNU finished off the sweep by picking up wins on all three doubles courts in convincing fashion.
 
The Sea Lions will go on the road to face rival Azusa Pacific on Saturday, Mar. 21 at 11:00 a.m.
