OAKLAND - The No. 22 Point Loma women's tennis team earned their third sweep of the season in a 9-0 victory over Holy Names on Saturday, Mar. 7.
 
The Sea Lions (5-5) made quick work of the Hawks (3-4) in doubles losing just a total of four games over the three matches. On court 3 Madeline Cunningham and Jen Weissmann did not drop a game in their 8-0 sweep.
 
Point Loma was just as efficient in singles, earning sweeps on all six courts. Preethika Venugopal moved up to No. 3s and won 6-0 and 6-0. Regina von Koch, Hillary Ramage, Kirsty Mountain, Cunningham and Weissmann also all earned straight set victories.
 
PLNU's next match will be Monday, Mar. 9 at Academy of Art starting at 2:00 p.m.
