SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The Point Loma women's tennis team closed out its three-match PacWest road trip with an 8-1 victory over Dominican on Saturday, Mar. 11.
 
The Sea Lions opened the match with a sweep of doubles and carried that momentum right through singles. All five singles victories for the Sea Lions were in straight sets.
 
Regina von Koch is now 11-1 on the season in singles play, including 8-0 on court 2. Shelby Groeneveld is 9-2 on the season, with seven of those victories coming on court 3. In doubles, von Koch and Nikki Newell at 7-4, all at the No. 1 spot. Groeneveld and Torres are 7-3 and Ellie Gamble and Nicole Camaratta are 8-3.
