Box Score AZUSA, Calif. – Point Loma had a tough road trip on Saturday as they headed to Azusa Pacific to take on the No. 5 team in the country. The Cougars proved why they are ranked so highly and considered to be the No. 1 team in the region with a 9-0 sweep of the Sea Lions.
 
Leading off with doubles, the Sea Lions had to face the number one and number 10 doubles pairings in the country. Despite being able to grab a couple of sets, each PLNU pair fell 8-3 in their respective matches.
 
In singles matches the top three players for the Sea Lions had to face the number two, number nine and number 26 ranked players in the country. Brendon Millington, facing the ninth ranked player in the country was able to extend his match to three sets but eventually fell 10-7 in the decisive set.
