SAN DIEGO - Tyler Trausch signed with the Point Loma men's soccer team and will join the Sea Lions as a freshman out of Irvine, Calif., in the fall.
 
"Tyler was the first player that we added to the class of 2021," explains PLNU head coach Phil Wolf. "We are excited about his arrival to the Point. One of several left-footed players in this class, Tyler can feature both as a left back and as a left central defender. He is an experienced player who has played for some of the top clubs in southern California. Tyler is a great culture fit and we look forward to his influence in our team!"
 
The 2021 Northwood High School graduate is a three-time letter winner for the Timberwolves including three selections to the honor roll. Trausch was a first-team All-League selection and a Scholar-Athlete recipient his sophomore year. The defenseman will be majoring in Business Administration.
 
"Point Loma has the best view on the planet, I get to play soccer, and be at a Christian school," said Trausch on why he signed with the Sea Lions.
 
Trausch joins Quieroz and Hill in the 2021 men's soccer recruiting class.
