Editor's Note: Article updated with D2CCA All-West Region awards, which were announced on Nov. 14.

Another stellar season for PLNU Women's Soccer has resulted in a plethora of postseason awards for the Sea Lions.

Senior center back Lauren O'Malley was named PacWest Defender of the Year for the third-straight season, a new conference record, while forward Zoe Crockett earned PacWest Freshman of the Year recognition.

O'Malley was joined on the All-PacWest First Team by sophomore forward Alana Diaz, sophomore defender Emma Thrapp and freshman midfielder Lily Paulson. O'Malley and Thrapp also earned D2CCA All-West Region honors, receiving first and second team honors respectively.

Crockett received All-PacWest Second Team honors, along with senior forward Alison Pepper and sophomore defender Naomi Ellis.

Sophomore midfielder Mara Sovde, junior forward Bethany Arabe and freshman goalkeeper Julia Pinnell rounded out PLNU's awards with All-PacWest Third Team recognition. Sovde earned United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-West Region honors, with O'Malley (First Team) and Thrapp (Third Team) also receiving the recognition.

O'Malley set a pair of PacWest records with her third-straight PacWest Defender of the Year award, as well as her fifth All-Conference nod in her storied Sea Lion career. The center back has anchored a stout Point Loma defense yet again, while also pitching in on the offensive end with her three goals and two assists.

Diaz (seven goals, three assists) and Thrapp (three goals, one assist) earned All-PacWest First Team honors for the second-straight year. Diaz, PLNU's most lethal attacker, leads the team in both goals and points. Thrapp partners O'Malley in the center of defense and contributes to the attack with her set-piece capabilities.

Paulson was voted a First Team honoree in just her first year on the Point, with her impact on the team growing as the year has gone along. She scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Hawaii Pacific after she tallied an assist in a 2-0 win over Azusa Pacific.

Crockett has scored six goals, which ranks third on the team, including four being game-winners. Pepper is tied with Diaz for the team-lead with seven goals, with five of those coming during PacWest play.

Ellis earned Second Team honors for the second-straight year, as she has proven to be a mainstay in the PLNU lineup, starting every match in her three seasons as a Sea Lion. She has one assist on the year, while supplying quality service and tenacious defending from her left back position.

Arabe (one goal, one assist) and Sovde (one assist) are Third Team selections for a second-consecutive season, while Pinnell earns the award in her first Sea Lion season.

Arabe is a constant threat to the opposing defense with her dynamic dribbling, with Sovde serving as a key cog in PLNU's midfield with her passing scope and ability to link play.

Pinnell has started every game in her freshman campaign, contributing to eight shutouts and posting a goals against average of 0.86.

Point Loma (12-2-4 overall, 7-1-2 PacWest) plays in the First Round of the NCAA West Regional on Thursday at 12 p.m. against Sonoma State.
