(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Soccer forward
Elijah Langford was named a D2CCA Third Team All-American on Tuesday, as announced by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.
Langford becomes the second Sea Lion in program history to earn D2CCA All-American honors and the first since Wiktor Lasota in 2017.
The sophomore put together an impressive season statistically, scoring 10 goals and adding eight assists, with both ranking second in the PacWest Conference.
He became PLNU's first double-digit goal scorer since 2019, leading the PacWest's most potent offense to a second straight conference championship.
Langford also earned several other awards this season, including PacWest Player of the Year and being selected to the All-PacWest and D2CCA All-West Region First Teams.
Point Loma finished the year with an 11-4-3 overall record after making a second consecutive NCAA Super Region 4 postseason appearance.
