(SAN DIEGO) For the third-straight year under Head Coach
Charity Elliott, PLNU Women's Basketball received academic recognition from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
In 2023-24, Point Loma posted a 3.635 GPA to rank 28th in all of NCAA Division II, earning special mention in the WBCA Academic Top-25 Honor Roll.
"I'm so proud of the team for earning this honor once again," Elliott said. "They are true student-athletes who want to be excellent in every facet of their lives."
Every eligible player on PLNU's team earned Academic All-PacWest honors.
This past season, Point Loma (18-13 overall) competed in the NCAA West Regional for the first time in seven seasons after reaching a third-straight PacWest Tournament semifinal.
PLNU is scheduled to begin its 2024-25 season on Nov. 8 against defending West Region champions Cal State San Marcos as part of the PacWest/CCAA Conference Challenge.
