(LA MIRADA, Calif.) Anna Pallencaoe and Emely Valencia advanced to the doubles championship of the ITA West Regionals, while Pallencaoe and Alina Kupfer will feature in the singles semifinals.
 
Pallencaoe and Valencia are a perfect 4-0 in the doubles tournament thus far, rolling past their opposition by scores of 8-0, 8-4, 8-2, 8-1.
 
The duo will play in the championship on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. against the No. 4 seed from Azusa Pacific, Karola Suviste and Stina Larsson.
 
Pallencaoe and Kupfer will represent PLNU in the singles semifinals on opposite sides of the bracket.

Kupfer, the second seed, has yet to lose more than three games in any set. Pallencaoe, the eighth seed, dispatched No. 1 Larsson in the quarterfinals – 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
 
Two other Sea Lions also reached the Round of 16 in singles in Valencia and Perla Condre Vendrell, marking the third straight year that PLNU had four players advance to the third round of the tournament.
 
Pallencaoe's and Kupfer's semifinal singles matches are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., with the championship set to be played at 1:30 p.m.
