(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Basketball excelled on the court and in the classroom in 2025-26.
Point Loma earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, awarded by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, for posting at least a 3.0 team GPA this past school year.
That success added to the team's accomplishments on the floor, with PLNU winning a fifth straight PacWest Conference regular season championship and a second consecutive conference tournament crown.
The Sea Lions went on to reach the West Regional championship game for the third time in four seasons, as Point Loma was one of just 12 teams in all of NCAA Division II to earn the NABC academic award and play in the NCAA Tournament.

Jude Harris named to the NABC Honors Court for being at least a junior academically with a 3.2 cumulative GPA or above.
Point Loma is slated to open the 2026-27 season on Nov. 7-8 at the prestigious Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Lakeland, Florida.
