The Sea Lions have proved just as capable in the classroom.
For the 11th straight year, Point Loma earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, as presented by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Teams received the distinction for achieving a 3.0 GPA or above during the 2025-26 academic calendar.
Point Loma recorded an impressive 3.614 GPA this past year, while 29 Sea Lions earned Academic All-PacWest honors.
On the diamond, Point Loma posted a 50-13 record this past season, winning a record fourth PacWest championship before claiming a third NCAA West Regional crown in five years.
