Baxter Halligan earns the PacWest Pitcher of the Week for the 3rd time this year thanks to the most dominating start of his career. Halligan set a career-high with 13 strikeouts in 7-innings of scoreless work in the series opener against Biola. Halligan struck out 8 of the first 9 batters he faced and didn't allow a baserunner into the 4th inning. He held the Eagles to just two hits for the outing and surrendered just 2 walks on his way to his conference-leading 7th win of the season. Halligan is currently 4th in the country with 7 victories with a 0.94 ERA that ranks 7th in the NCAA Division II. His outstanding performance names him SportClips MVP of the week.
