The Point Loma men's soccer team will travel to the Bay Area for the second time this season for a pair of PacWest Conference contests. The Sea Lions will face Academy of Art tomorrow at 2:30 p.m., and then take on Holy Names on Monday at 3:30 p.m.

A LOOK AT THE SEA LIONS:
PLNU will come into the weekend sitting fourth in the PacWest conference standings with 11 points. The Sea Lions are 5-3-1 on the season and 3-1-2 in the PacWest. They trail current conference co-leaders Azusa Pacific and California Baptist by four points in the PacWest standings. Last week during its four-match homestand against the PacWest schools from Hawaii, PLNU went 2-1-1. It picked up victories over Chaminade and Hawaii Hilo, and a tie against BYU-Hawaii.
Daniel ten Bosch leads Point Loma and is tied for third in the PacWest with 14 points. He leads the league with six assists and is tied for ninth with four goals. His teammate
Griffin Fuller also has four goals on the season. PLNU goalkeeper
Carter Phillips is ranked amongst the conference leaders in numerous categories. The senior from Santee, Calif., is tied for first in shutouts with four. He is also ranked third in saves (37), save percentage (.755) and goals against average (1.07).
As a team, Point Loma has seen significant improvement both offensively and defensively in coach
Phil Wolf's second season. The Sea Lions lead the PacWest with five shutouts and are ranked third with a 1.03 goals against average. Offensively, PLNU is third in assists (15) and tied for fifth in goals (17).
A LOOK AT THE URBAN KNIGHTS:
Academy of Art comes into the contest at 6-4 on the season and at 3-2 in the PacWest. The nine points for AAU have them tied for fifth place in the conference with Hawaii Pacific. AAU has won three of its last four matches. Jonmundu Gretarsson leads the Urban Knights with 13 points on the season. He has five goals and three assists. Frederik Nagel has also registered four goals for AAU.
A LOOK AT THE HAWKS:
Holy Names is 3-6-1 on the season and 2-3-0 in the PacWest. Jamie Phillips leads the team with seven goals. David Norton also has six goals on the season to give the Hawks a formidable scoring duo.
NEXT WEEK:
The Sea Lions will return home next week to face just one opponent when they welcome in Cal Baptist on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11:00 a.m.
