THIS WEEK:
The season is on the line for the Sea Lions men's soccer team this Saturday (Nov. 9) when the Azusa Pacific Cougars come to the PLNU Soccer Field for the regular season finale starting at 1:30 p.m.
NCCAA WEST REGIONAL:
The opportunity to advance to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) West Regional will all rest on this match as the Sea Lions must finish as .500 or better to advance to the playoffs. The Sea Lions are currently 7-7-3 on the season and would need a result (either a win or a tie) on Saturday to qualify for the NCCAA playoffs for the first time.
The regional is expected to feature four teams. Currently there are five teams competing for four spots. In addition to PLNU the list includes Fresno Pacific, Azusa Pacific, Bethesda and Arizona Christian. The team ranked highest at the end of the regular season will be the host for the four-team, single-elimination regional.
