THIS WEEK:
The Point Loma baseball team will go to California Baptist to play in a four-game series on Thursday-Saturday (Apr. 17-19). The teams will play single games on both Thursday and Friday starting at 6:00 p.m. The series will close out with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at Noon.

A LOOK AT POINT LOMA:
The Sea Lions are 19-18 on the season and are tied with Fresno Pacific for fifth place in the PacWest standings at 10-10. Clinton Harwick leads the team and ranks sixth in the PacWest with a .368 batting average. Tyler Nordgren is third in the league with 36 RBI while also hitting .360.
 
A LOOK AT CALIFORNIA BAPTIST:
The Lancers come into the series third place in the PacWest standings (12-9) and with a 28-10 record. They have won four straight games and eight of their last nine. Andy Crowley is second in the PacWest and paces CBU with a .387 batting average. Nathan Antoun is leading the team in runs driven in with 31. Crowley and Blair Moore are ranked 1-2 in the league in runs scored with 39 and 38, respectively.  
  
NEXT WEEK:
This will be the final road trip of the season for PLNU. The Sea Lions will return home to close out its season with a four-game series against Dixie State on Apr. 25-26 and against Academy of Art on May 2-3.
