A look at the Sea LionsThe Sea Lions saw their four-game winning streak snapped when they fell 3-2 at Concordia (CA) over the weekend. The Sea Lions are now 6-4-1 overall and 5-2-0 in the PacWest. Despite the loss, the PLNU men's soccer team is solidly sitting in fourth place in the PacWest conference trailing leaders Dixie State, and Hawaii Pacific. However, PLNU has played one less conference match than all three teams it trails in the standings. Currently, the Sea Lions are seven points off the pace set by the Red Storm (22 points). Â

Manu Montal ranks ninth in the PacWest with five goals scored as he continues to pace the Sea Lions.
Daniel ten Bosch was instrumental in offense over the weekend, putting away a goal for the Sea Lions and assisting on the second goal by Eddie Gallardo in their match against Concordia.

Avrin Yakou has stepped into the box. Yakou sits in second in goals against average (1.15) in the PacWest.

As a team, the Sea Lions ranks second in the PacWest and 25th in NCAA Division II allowing just 0.91 goals per match. The defense also has Point Loma ranked 53rd nationally in shutout percentage (0.36).
