LOS ANGELES - The No. 27 Point Loma men's tennis team picked up its second straight victory with an 8-1 win over Biola on the road on Saturday, Mar. 12.
 
PLNU (5-9) swept doubles for the first time this season, and everyone carried that momentum into singles, as all five wins came in straight sets against Biola (4-7).
 
Martin Blaho and James Tenbroeck opened things with an 8-2 win on court 3. Grant Alston and Adrian von Braun followed just moments later with an 8-1 win on court 2. CJ Erion and Andre Staab took just a little longer but still made quick work of their opponents in an 8-4 win.
 
In singles, von Braun put the first point on the board with a 6-1 and 6-0 win at No. 6s. James Tenbroeck then won on court 3, 6-2 and 6-4, for the match clinching point. Jack Alston, CJ Erion and Martin Blaho each came through in their singles matches even after having to play an extra set to get the win.
 
The Sea Lions will home next week to start a five-match homestand. They will open with BYU-Hawaii on Tuesday, Mar, 15.
