This is a critical stretch of the season for the Sea Lions as they welcome in two opponents from Hawaii in the next three days. The Point Loma men's soccer team is in the midst of a nine-match unbeaten streak, which includes seven victory. PLNU will face Hawaii Hilo on Saturday Oct. 14 at 2 p.m., and Hawaii Pacific on Monday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m.

A look at the Sea Lions
PLNU men's soccer team is riding a nine-match unbeaten streak, and are now 7-2-2 on the season. The Sea Lions added to their streak by beating Chaminade at home on Monday, following two back-to-back 0-0 ties. The Sea Lions (7-2-2, 4-0-2 PacWest) are currently third in conference with 14 points, one point ahead of No. 9 California Baptist (13 points). PLNU is two points behind PacWest-leader Notre Dame de Namur.

Eduardo Gallardo are next with five points in PacWest. Siegfried is ranked fifth in conference for game winning goals (0.222), just ahead of Gallardo, ranked ninth (0.167). Junior goalkeeper
Wiktor Lasota remains No.1 in conference for shutouts (six), goals against average (0.497), and save percentage (0.865). Lasota takes a spot nationally, ranking No. 7 in shutouts and No.10 in both save percentage and goals against average.
Together, the Sea Lions continue to lead PacWest in shutout percentage (0.64), save percentage (0.870), and goals against average (0.524). PLNU continues to be ranked nationally in the top 10 for all three of these categories.
A look at the Vulcans
Hawai'i Hilo (0-9, 0-6 PacWest) is tied for 14th in conference, alongside Dominican with zero points. This is the first of a three game match up series for the Vulcans on the mainland (Oct. 14-16). The Vulcans are second in conference in saves per game (5.78). Freshman Bryan Reynoso leads the team with three goals and is pacing the team with four points in PacWest play. One other player has scored for UHH. Three Vulcans have assists this season. Junior Nick Williams is third in PacWest for saves per game (4.89) and ninth in save percentage (0.677).
A look at the Sharks
Hawai'i Pacific (4-5-2, 2-4-1 PacWest) is tied for eighth in the conference alongside Holy Names and Azusa Pacific (seven points). The Sharks' contest against the Sea Lions will be the last of their three-match series in California (Oct. 11-16). HPU is fifth in conference in shots per game (5.75) and points per game (4.75). Senior forward Josch Cuerten ranks third in shots per game (3.80), fifth in points per game (1.80) and fourth in goals per game (.800).
Next Games
The next weekend, the Sea Lions leave The Point to travel to St. George, Utah to face off against Dixie State. The game will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.
