Words from Christine Perez
On the consistency of the team over both rounds: "AS a team we just have the mentality that we can compete with these other teams. Being as close as we were last week, it built our confidence and allowed us to maintain that confidence for this week."
Â
On all five student-athletes all shooting under 79's: "We all depend on each other and it helps us maintain our consistency. I know if I lose a stroke somewhere my teammates will pick me up."
Â
On the challenges of the course: "Placement in our practice round and the notes we took then were so important. Having confidence in our notes and coming out of our practice round really helps us.
