KANG, PEREZ TIE FOR 4TH AT PLNU SEA LION INVITE

SAN DIEGO - Tabetha Kang and Christine Perez each registered scores of 151 (+7) to tie for fourth at the 2020 PLNU Sea Lion Invitational.
 
Kang opened the tournament hot, shooting a 1-under 71 in the first round, before posting an 80 (+8) to close out. She tied for the tournament lead with a 2-over on par-4's and was sixth with five birdies. Perez was consistent throughout, as she shot a 77 (+5) and a 74 (+2). She tied for third in par-4 (+3),  par-5 scoring (E) and birdies (seven).
 
Alli Kim was not far behind. She recorded a 78 (+6) in the first round, and a 76 (+4) in the second round to take 11th place at the tournament with a 154 (+10). She was 1-under on par-5's for the tournament (second overall) and was eighth in birdies (four). Summer Marshall completed the Sea Lions' scoring with a 174.
 
Sonoma State won the team title with a 611 (+35). The Seawolves' Samantha Cabunag also took the individual title with a 2-over 146.
