SAN DIEGO - Freshmen Brianna Camarena, Blanca Granados and Anessa Chirgwin all earned spots on Point Loma track & field's all-time top 10 list and many other Sea Lions set personal records at the 2021 Team 4 Ely Invitational, hosted by Concordia, on Saturday, Mar. 27.

Camarena cleared 11-0.75 (3.37 meters) in the pole vault to move into 10th in school history. She hit that mark on her second attempt at that height. That mark was almost two inches above the mark she had in her first collegiate meet. Camarena now ranks fifth on the 2021 PacWest Performance List.

Chirgwin improved her sixth-place spot on the all-time top 10 list in the discus with a throw of 138-4 (42.16m). In her final throw of the meet, the freshman from Oregon City, Ore., topped her previous career-best mark by 16 inches to further second her spot in the record books. She is fourth on the 2021 PacWest Performance List.

Blanca Granados jumped into a tie for seventh on the school's all-time top 10 list in the 100m with a time of 12.44. Granados achieved that mark during the prelims, before going on to take second in the event at the meet.

Senior Avery Avina took second at the meet in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.57. It was the career-best time for Avina. She also posted a personal record time of 12.74 in the 100 meters.

Aubrie Nex almost joined her fellow freshmen on the all-top 10 list. The distance runner from Temecula, Calif., registered a time of 17:52.15 in the 5k to finish just 3.34 seconds offer the 10th place mark in the school record books. She placed second at the meet and is also second on the 2021 PacWest Performance List.

Logan Williams is now fourth on the PacWest Performance List in the 5k after posting a time of 18:08.25.
