SAN DIEGO- The crowded field with Olympic hopefuls and top competition at the UC Triton Invitational served as Point Loma's penultimate tune-up for the PacWest Championships Saturday at UC San Diego.

The 400-meter relay team posted a 48.42 time to finish 6^th. The team of Macey Groves, Blanca Granados, Madelynn Worley,  and Jemmia Pennix posted a season-best time in a fast field.

Lakely Nealis and Kellis Hein finished in the middle of the pack in the 1500 meter run, placing 28^th and 29^th while Emily Donahue was just a few seconds behind. All were just above the 5:05 mark and around their season-best performances.

Nica Zsiros and Makenna Sulivan posted strong times in the the100-meter hurdles with Zsiros posting a season-best 16.13 for Point Loma.

The Sea Lions will have one more tune-up before the PacWest Championships as they head to Azusa Pacific University for the Bryan Clay Invitational Wednesday April 13^th through Friday the 15^th.
