(SAN DIEGO) Multiple Sea Lions won individual events as PLNU Women's Track & Field hosted its first home meet of the season, the Loma Invite, on Saturday.
Point Loma competed against Navy in the first of three-straight weekends the Sea Lions will host a meet on The Point.
Madison Simmers won the women's long jump with a mark of 4.81 meters on her opening attempt, while
Aubrie Nex crossed the finish line of the women's 800 meters in first place in a time of 2:15.35, 0.62 seconds ahead of her closest competitor.

Makenna Sullivan combined to win the women's 4x400 meter relay (4:09.74) in an all-Sea Lions race of four PLNU teams, while Sullivan finished first in the women's triple jump (10.55 meters).
Eva Koutelieris placed second in the women's pole vault, clearing a new career-best 3.65 meters, which moved her up from No. 7 in program history to No. 5.
Point Loma is set to host the Ross and Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday, with field events beginning at 9 a.m. and track events starting at 11:30 a.m.
