PLNU Men's Tennis had three Sea Lions earn All-PacWest honors on Wednesday, when the All-Conference Teams were announced in both singles and doubles.
Alexander Leischner,
Andrew Suver and
David Strassburger received All-PacWest recognition in singles, while Leischner and Strassburger also did so in doubles.
Leischner, the 2023 PacWest Player of the Year, represents Point Loma on the All-PacWest First Team in singles for the second-straight season.
This year, Leischner has an 8-5 singles record at No. 1 after finishing as runner-up at the ITA West Regional in September in both singles and doubles.
Suver and Strassburger have split time at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles spots this season and were both named to the Third Team.
This season, Suver has nine singles wins and is just one away from reaching double-digits in the category for the second-straight year.
Strassburger has six singles victories on the season, three each at No. 2 and No. 3, and is just one win away from reaching 40 for his Sea Lions career.
Leischner and Strassburger, PLNU's No. 1 doubles pairing, are 4-4 together as a duo and were selected to the All-PacWest Second Team in doubles.
Fourth-seeded Point Loma (11-7 overall) opens up the PacWest Championships on Thursday at 9 a.m. with a quarterfinal matchup against fifth-seeded Concordia.
