Abigail Nua was named the PacWest Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, while PLNU Volleyball earned the conference's Team of the Week award.
Nua has now won the PacWest's top weekly honor 12 times in her career, which ranks second in conference history, just one behind the all-time record.
The reigning PacWest Player of the Year was instrumental in a pair of PLNU victories in Hawai'i, a four-set win at Hawai'i Pacific on Friday and a five-set triumph against defending conference champions Chaminade on Saturday.
Against HPU, Nua had 25 kills before following that up with 20 kills and 11 digs against Chaminade for her 10th double-double of the season.
Nua leads the PacWest this year in kills per set (4.94) and points per set (5.57), with both ranking second in all of NCAA Division II.
No. 5 Point Loma (18-2 overall, 7-0 PacWest) is in solo possession of first place in the conference standings, a half-game ahead of Fresno Pacific (18-0, 6-0). PLNU travels to play at Vanguard in Costa Mesa on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
