(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Volleyball outside hitter Abigail Nua was named the PacWest Player of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Nua led the fifth-ranked Sea Lions to three wins last week against Hawai'i Hilo, Dominican and Menlo.

On Monday, the three-time All-American posted a match-high 22 kills in PLNU's PacWest-opening sweep of Hawai'i Hilo.
 
Then on the road at Dominican and Menlo on Friday and Saturday, the reigning PacWest Player of the Year led all players with 16 kills in both matches.

Nua ranks No. 1 in the PacWest and NCAA Division II this year in kills per set (5.26).
 
Point Loma (13-1 overall, 3-0 PacWest) concludes its northern California road trip on Monday at 5 p.m. at Fresno Pacific.
