(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Basketball forward Ruby Vlahov was named the PacWest Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Vlahov put together two dominant performances in victories over Western Oregon and Northwest Nazarene that helped Point Loma win the PLNU Thanksgiving Classic title.

In Friday's 93-67 victory against WOU, Vlahov scored a career-high 27 points on 11-for-15 shooting, including 4-for-5 from 3-point range.
 
She followed that up with 17 points in Saturday's 76-56 win against NNU, making all five of her shots from inside the arc.
 
Vlahov led all scorers in points in both games. She leads PLNU in scoring this season, averaging 14.3 points per game, which also ranks fifth in the conference.

Point Loma (4-2 overall) enters the PacWest portion of its schedule this week on a four-game winning streak.
 
The Sea Lions will travel to play at Jessup on Thursday in Rocklin at 5:30 p.m.
