Jake Entrekin earned a pair of individual weekly awards after a dominant weekend at the plate for the Sea Lions.
The senior catcher was named the PacWest Player of the Week on Monday before receiving NCBWA West Region Player of the Week honors on Tuesday.
In a three-game sweep of Colorado School of Mines, Entrekin batted .600 with three home runs and eight RBIs.
In games one and three of the series, Entrekin hit at least one home run and tallied four RBIs.
That included in the series finale, when a pair of two-run long balls from Entrekin proved to be the difference for the Sea Lions in a 4-3 victory.
Entrekin leads PLNU so far this season in batting average, home runs and RBIs.
Point Loma (4-2 overall) returns to Carroll B. Land Stadium on Saturday, as PLNU begins PacWest play against Biola. First pitch of the Homecoming Weekend doubleheader is scheduled for 11 a.m.
