Maddie Reeves will represent PLNU Women's Track & Field at the NCAA Championships in Pueblo, Colorado, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday.
Reeves will compete in the 10,000 meters, an event in which she holds the Point Loma record in.
The junior from Peoria, Arizona holds the 10th fastest 10K time in all of NCAA Division II this season, crossing the finish line in 34:28.75 at the Stanford Invitational on April 4 in what was her first time running the event competitively.
Reeves also ran an NCAA provisional qualifying time this year in the 5,000 meters (16:44.46), an event she also set a new PLNU record in.
The 10,000 meters at the NCAA Championships will take place on May 22 at 6:50 p.m. PT / 7:50 p.m. MT.
