(SAN DIEGO) A quartet of PLNU Women's Track & Field athletes earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in their respective events, as announced by the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Maddie Reeves receives the recognition in the 10,000 meters, while
Peyton Yoshida,
Danielle Gould and
Brianne Camarena earn the honor in the pole vault.

All four placed in the top-five in the West Region in their events, as Point Loma set a new NCAA-era program record for most All-Region honorees in a single season.

Reeves placed 13th at the NCAA Championships in the 10,000 meters on Thursday. She previously set a new program record in the event, running 34:28.75 at the Stanford Invitational on April 4.

Yoshida, Gould and Camarena all posted season-best marks at the PacWest Championships with vaults of 3.79 meters, an NCAA provisional mark. The trio swept the podium at the conference meet, finishing first, second and third respectively to earn All-PacWest honors.

Yoshida won her third straight PacWest pole vault title along the way, becoming the first Sea Lion to win an event at the conference championships three time. Gould won the pole vault at both the Ben Brown Invitational and the Aztec Invitational.

Point Loma's previous record number of USTFCCCA All-West Region selections was three in 2019.
