(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Track & Field will host its first ever summer camp this July 28-30.
The camp is for high school female track & field athletes, who will focus on improving their skills in sprints, hurdles and jumps.
PLNU Associate Head Coach
Avery Takata and Assistant Coach
Asa Larsen will coach the camp, with a special guest session from Assistant Coach Curtis Beach, a two-time NCAA decathlon champion at Duke and a four-time Team U.S.A. member.
"When I was in high school, I would have loved to go to a track camp like this," Takata said. "We've been wanting to put something together for a few years now and are finally getting to plan the camp that I would have wanted to go to."
Overnight and day camp options are available for campers, who seek to take their track & field skills to the next level.
"We're hoping to provide a whole three-day experience for anyone who loves track & field and wants to continue their track career at the next level, while training at one of the most beautiful facilities in the country," Takata said.
