(SAN DIEGO) The 2025 PLNU Volleyball schedule is officially set.
Coming off its best record (26-2 overall) in a season in program history, Point Loma will look to build off its historic campaign with its 2025 calendar officially beginning Sep. 4-6 at the annual San Diego Invite in Golden Gym.
PLNU's first match of the season will be against Emporia State on Sep. 4 at 6 p.m.
That will be followed by matches against Northwest Nazarene (Sep. 5) and Cal State San Bernardino (Sep. 6).
The Sea Lions will then travel to Denver for four matches on Sep. 12 and 13. PLNU will play Bentley and West Texas A&M on Sep. 12, with its Sep. 13 matches to be played against opponents TBD depending on the previous day's results.
Point Loma will then play four more non-conference matches against PacWest opponents, before officially beginning its 12-match PacWest schedule on Sep. 29 at home against Hawai'i Hilo.
PLNU will play each conference opponent once in conference play, with seven total non-conference matches against PacWest opponents that won't count towards the conference standings.
After six consecutive road matches Oct. 17-Nov. 8, PLNU will close out the regular season with three consecutive home matches against Vanguard (Nov. 12), Jessup (Nov. 13) and Fresno Pacific (Nov. 15).
The first ever PacWest Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-21 in Honolulu.
Point Loma will then hope to compete in a third straight NCAA West Regional Dec. 4-7.
The NCAA Championships are set to take place Dec. 11-13 at a site TBD.
