PLNU Women's Cross Country and Track & Field will welcome 15 newcomers this year.

PLNU WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK & FIELD ANNOUNCES NEWCOMERS

(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Cross Country and Track & Field has announced 15 newcomers ahead of the 2025-26 school year.
 
"We are so excited to welcome this year's incoming class of freshmen," Associate Head Coach Avery Takata said. "Even just reading through their stats in their respective event groups made me even more excited to get started."
 
Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jake Poyner added: "This group of newcomers epitomizes our coaching staff's continued commitment to being the place where talented and team-oriented individuals can reach their potential in the sport."

Takata added: "Not only are they a talented group that will help us continue to achieve big things in the PacWest and beyond, but they have such great hearts and attitudes to help foster excellence in our team culture as we continue to compete at high levels. We're excited to watch them grow and be a part of their collegiate careers."
 
PLNU Women's Cross Country opens its 2025 season on Sep. 13 at the Cougar Challenge in San Marcos. The race is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
