Owen May was named PacWest Player of the Week after his stellar series in Fresno over the weekend, while No. 8 PLNU Baseball once again earned the conference's Team of the Week award.
Across the four-game set, May went 10-for-19 with a double, triple, two home runs and nine RBIs.
The leadoff hitter, who also scored 10 runs, had at least one hit and RBI in each game, including a combined seven hits and five RBIs on Saturday.
The senior had four hits in game three of the series and another three in game four, while hitting home runs in the series opener and finale.
On the season, May is hitting .320 with four home runs and 23 RBIs, while posting a .439 on-base % and a .550 slugging % for a .989 OPS.
Point Loma (24-3 overall, 20-0 PacWest) swept its fifth-straight series to begin PacWest play and extended its winning streak to an NCAA-era program record 20 games.
PLNU hosts Azusa Pacific on Friday in a conference doubleheader beginning at noon.
