REEVES TO RUN MULTIPLE RACES AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

(EMPORIA, Kan.) For the second straight season, Maddie Reeves will represent PLNU Women's Track & Field at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Reeves will once again race in the 10,000 meters, an event she finished in 13th at last year's nationals, except this time she'll also run in the 5,000 meters as well.
 
She will be the first Sea Lion to race in multiple events at nationals, yet alone in the same year.
   
This season, Reeves ranks fourth nationally in the 10K with a time of 33:52.01, which she ran at the Stanford Invitational on April 3.
 
Her 5K time of 16:36.30 from the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival on March 27 is seeded 21st nationally.
 
Reeves will run in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA Championships on May 21 at 8:50 p.m. CT / 6:50 p.m. PT before competing in the 5,000 meters on May 23 at 6:55 p.m. CT / 4:55 p.m. PT.
