(SAN DIEGO) For the fourth straight year, Point Loma has won the PacWest Academic Achievement Award.
With the second highest GPA (3.59) in PacWest history, PLNU won the conference's top academic honor for the fifth time since 2019-20.
After repeating as Bob Hogue Commissioner's Cup winners in 2025-26 for highest average conference finish in athletic competition, the Sea Lions once again posted the highest GPA of any PacWest athletic department.

Point Loma had the highest GPA among female student-athletes (3.67) and second-highest among male student-athletes (3.48).
PLNU Men's Tennis posted the best GPA (3.89) of any PacWest male sports team, while PLNU Women's Tennis (3.87) recorded the best of any conference female athletic team.
PLNU Women's Soccer (3.79), Women's Basketball (3.73) and Baseball (3.61) tallied the highest GPA of any team in their respective sports.

Point Loma also set a new department record with 198 PacWest All-Academic selections, surpassing last year's program record of 195.
Three Sea Lions were also previously recognized as PacWest Scholar-Athletes in their sport.
PLNU has set a new school record of conference All-Academic honorees in six straight years.
