REDLANDS, Calif. - The Point Loma women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Redlands on Saturday, Feb. 16.
The Sea Lions earned their points out of the No. 1 and No. 4 singles positions.
Maika Adair defeated Jessica Ly at No. 1 singles 3-6, 6-4 and 10-8 in the tie breaker.
Wileen Chiu also had to go to the tie breaker to defeat her opponent. Chiu knocked off Paige Press at No. 4 singles 2-6, 7-5 and 10-7.
The Sea Lions will get a quick chance at redemption when they travel to Hope International on Monday, Feb. 18 at 3:30 p.m.
