SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to local rival UC San Diego, on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
The Sea Lions (0-2) came closest to earning a win in No. 2 singles when
Hope Penner pushed Kyra Scott to a tiebreaker in the first set. The tiebreaker was tied at 3-3 before Scott took three of four points and earned the 7-5 win.
PLNU's next match will be on the road at Grand Canyon on Friday, Feb. 8 at 2:00 p.m.
