SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Pacific West Conference rival Fresno Pacific on Saturday, Mar. 9.

The Sunbirds (11-2) won all three doubles matches en route to the victory. The loss puts the Sea Lions at 4-8 on the season.

PLNU earned its only points of the match at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Wileen Chiu took down Erin Carlson in straight sets at No. 5 singles 6-2 and 6-2. Kiersten Steinhauer picked up a win at No. 6 with a 6-4 and 6-2 victory over Anna Mikhaylova.
