After yet another stellar showing at a meet, Aubrie Nex was named PacWest Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Wednesday, as announced by the conference office.
 
On Saturday, Nex won her fourth event of the track season, placing first in the 1500 meters at the Triton Classic.
 
Her time of 4:31.77 is an NCAA Division II provisional mark and ranks second in PLNU Track & Field history.

In addition to her four event wins this season, she has also placed second in two other races.
 
Point Loma is set to compete next at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Azusa. That meet is the team's final competition before the PacWest Championships April 28-29.
