Alli Kim capped off her storied career with a 55th-place finish at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Thursday.
Â
In her final round of golf for Point Loma, Kim shot an eight-over 80 to finish 14-over for the tournament.
Â
The most decorated player in program history, Kim is the only Sea Lion ever to compete at the national championships.
Â
"It was one of those brutal days on the golf course today," Head Coach
Lance Hancock said. "Quite literally nothing went her way today, but she continued fighting until the end and represented PLNU Golf like a champion."
Â
Kim birdied the last two par-fives on the course, including the 18th, to finish her final round strongly.
Â
"She's such a special player and an even more special lady," Hancock said. "I've enjoyed every step of every walk I've taken with her. I'm forever grateful for her contributions to our women's golf program."
Â
The fifth-year senior took Point Loma's program to new heights during her career, including this season when she led PLNU to its best-ever finish at the NCAA West Super Regionals.
