Elizabeth Satterlee won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic on Friday, highlighting another successful meet for Point Loma.

The meet was moved up a day from Saturday due to forecasted rain but that didn't slow down Satterlee, who finished in a time of 11:09.26 to win the event at a meet for the second time this season.

She beat second place by nearly a minute and improved her personal-best time by 7.17 seconds to move her from fourth place all-time in program history up to third.

Peyton Yoshida finished second in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 3.72 meters, moving her into a tie-for-fourth in program history in the event. Teammates
Brianne Camarena and
Eva Koutelieris both cleared 3.57 meters to finish third and fourth.

Aubrie Nex placed third in the 800 meters (2:12.90), while
Madelynn Worley (57.38 seconds) and
Blanca Granados (58.67 seconds) finished fourth and fifth respectively in the 400 meters.

In the 1500 meters,
Maddie Reeves placed fifth in a time of 4:44.98.
