(AZUSA, Calif.) After competing at the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa on Friday and Saturday, PLNU Track & Field now sets its sights on the PacWest Championships later this month.

Aubrie Nex recorded two season-best times in the 800 meters (2:10.68) and 1500 meters (4:31.19).

In the 800 meters she moves up to fourth in program history in the event after placing 31st out of 238 runners.

Madelynn Worley set a new career-best in the 400 meters (56.13 seconds), remaining in second place among Sea Lions all-time in the event.

Elizabeth Satterlee was just a few seconds shy of cracking the top-10 in program history in the 5,000 meters (17:51.95).

Anessa Chirgwin finished ninth in the discus throw (44.12 meters), while
Peyton Yoshida (sixth place) and
Brianne Camarena (ninth place) both cleared 3.42 meters in the Pole Vault C.

Point Loma will compete in the PacWest Championships April 26-27 in Santa Barbara.
