(GOODYEAR, Ariz.) PLNU Women's Golf moved up four spots on the team leaderboard in Tuesday's second and final round of the RJGA Shootout at Estrella to finish tied for fifth at the Golf Club of Estrella.

Point Loma bettered its first round score by 12 strokes, with Euni Han (73) and Zara Houghton (77) leading the charge with improvements of eight and six shots respectively.

Han's second round score of one-over was the best of any Sea Lion on the day, beginning her round with back-to-back birdies on holes 8 and 9 before finishing the tournament with a birdie on the par-three seventh.

She surged up 25 spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 22nd, while Houghton jumped up 15 spots into a tie for 43rd. Avery Sky moved up nine places herself into a tie for 19th after her second round 75.

Sky was one of only two players in the tournament to card an eagle, doing so on Tuesday on the par-four 12th.

Kiara Hernandez entered the day leading the tournament at one-under before finishing in a tie for third at three-over overall following her second round 76. She was still tied for the lead at even-par through 13 holes after a birdie on the par-four first, her eighth birdie of the tournament to lead all players.

Her tied-for-third finish equals her best finish from last season, when she placed in the top-five on five occasions.

Hernandez and Han both shot under-par on par-five holes, shooting two-under and one-under respectively.

Mallory Hopper carded an 80 on Tuesday, one stroke better than in Monday's first round, to place tied for 51st. She ranked second on the team with five birdies for the tournament.

Point Loma began Tuesday's final round tied for ninth as a team but only five strokes behind the lead. The Sea Lions moved up to as high as third place on the day, trailing the leaders by three shots, before ending up four strokes behind in a tie for fifth.
