(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Golf swept the PacWest weekly awards once again after continuing its strong start to the spring with another impressive showing at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.
 
Bella Gunasayan and Summer Schafer shared PacWest Golfer of the Week honors after both tied for fifth individually with a two-round score of three-under, while Point Loma is the conference's Team of the Week after finishing as runner-up.

Gunasayan and Schafer both posted rounds of four-under (68) in the tournament, with the duo combining for 11 birdies in Tuesday's second and final round.
 
Coming off a team victory at the LA Spring Kickoff, Point Loma shot back-to-back rounds under par to finish second out of 19 teams.
 
PLNU has now shot three-straight rounds under par as a squad.

Point Loma returns to competition March 9-10 at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, hosted by Cal State San Marcos at Shadowridge C.C in Vista.
