(ALAMEDA, Calif.) PLNU Women's Golf continued its spring season on Monday and Tuesday at the Pioneer Shootout, placing 17th as a team at Corica Park G.C.
Avery Sky (T-65) and
Zara Houghton (T-69) were the top two Sea Lions on the leaderboard.
Sky's first round 74 on Monday was the team's best round of the tournament, while Houghton's second round 77 was PLNU's best score on Tuesday.
Mallory Hopper also broke 80 on Tuesday, shooting a 79 to finish tied for 77th.
As a team, PLNU improved by five strokes in the second round compared to its score in Monday's opening round.
Point Loma returns to competition on March 10-11 at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, hosted as Shadowridge C.C. in Vista.
